    JD Performance Gains

    Ok All,

Has anybody fitted the new JD intercooler to their FZ ski and experienced power gains.

Mine is shipping to Aus today and Im keen to know what I can expect from a ski with stage 2 mods running a stock intercooler at present.

My 13/22 Skat long blade custom is already starting to bounce of the rev limiter with winter cool air on the way. Any ideas with the new intercooler what i should run?

Interested in people swapping their type 19 or Riva ic, any performance gain with the JD ic.

As far as getting the Riva In/Out and doing other work I hate it.(put it in and forget it is no problem)
Considered even the R&D R5 to reduce this aggravation, but I need know if it is good for E1 + as well.

If Dan's IC is good enough for his own ski then none of us should ever have to worry if it can support any rec rider's level of modification.

i am sure the classified section will be flooded with riva and r&d intercoolers for sale.
you could always use the rive i.c. as a paper weight!!!

I notice a big difference , but I went Riva cooler and Eone blade. When yamaha were testing mine vs a motec c3 with stock cooler. The other ski got and ran hot very fast. Mind you it run79mph then droped to 76mph and mine did 77mph all day. So yeah any cooler besides stock is going to be alot better when using a bigger blade. JD's one looks great and his video's of his ski show that it works.
