    RIVA Intercooler Question

For those of you that have the Riva intercooler and R&D Cooling Kit, are you able to run the boat on the hose safetly? I ask because the intercooler inlet is seperate. How do you guys do it? Do I need two hoses, 1 for the intercooler and 1 for the rest of the motor?

Since the IC is separate from the motor cooling lines I just do the IC last with the ski off. I either hook right up to the RIVA attachment or just reverse flush through the pisser, and I'm in salt water and since you can never remove all the water I use salt away.

I see how this is done, and don't want to hi-jack here, but why is this necessary? Why can't they just be done separately? Hope I'm not screwing up, by just doing them independently.

You can but was told you dont have to...

What i did with mine was relocate one of the fittings to the rear lower part of the core.. That way the water will fill the core from the bottom of one side and raise to the top of the next to exit... That way i know for sure it has good pressure travelling through the entire core instead of just one side...

Thumbs up Inter cooler/ engine flushing kit

    Hello everyone,

Here is how I do it. Both at the same time, I relocated the OEM flush connection since I'm also installing a TBM tank. I used a T fitting to feed the engine and inter cooler at the same time, I also have a ball valve to shut off the inter cooler when I'm riding, I also have a ball valve to shut off the engine when I just want to flush the inter cooler. Hope this helps. Take care Julio
