    Gas Treatment ?

running my 2000 GP1200r in a few hours for the first time this year, should I use a fuel injector cleaner in the gas? if so is there something that people tend to use the most and is it something I can get at a local auto parts store

Its not a fuel injected ski........

How old is the gas inside the tank? If you nervous about the fuel then syphon it out and get fresh gas.

I dont think any fuel cleaning system for cars are good for 2 stroke. It might cause damage to the internal seals or gaskets in the carb. I've read that most members here use the the STA-BIL Marine Fuel Stabilizer and are very happy with it. I use it myself and have no problems so far.

put fresh fuel in it & run it, if the carbs are shitted up, you will have to remove, disassemble clean/rebuild them, but if it runs good no worries

Do not use carb cleaner or fuel injection cleaner on a 2 stroke. The cleaners break down the lubricating properties of the oil, reguardless of wether you are oil injected or premixed.
