quick ? on bikes!!!!!! please help.

I have a 2002 gpr1200 (unknown hours) that I like alot. I do a lot of river riding. I have the chance for a awesome deal to get a 2007 RXP 155 hp with less then 10 hours. Is the RXP a good bike and will it compare, run with, or out run the 1200 GPR. I don't know alot about these bikes except to go ride and have fun. I'm usually in the boat and my son rides the bike...

what's y'all opinion please as I need to let the deal go or jump ASAP!

    Thanks Darryl

I know this a seadoo forum but do any of you guys have experience with both?

All of the posts I've seen about the 155-hp RXP are about increasing the skis performance. Do yourself a favor and buy a 215-hp RXP or a 260-hp RXP-X... Ron

Yup ... stock, the 155hp RXPs seem to go about 58 mph, and there are very few things you can do to make them faster ... with mods, maybe 62 mph max. The GPR is smaller, faster, and you can do more to make them faster yet. Only get the 155 RXP if you are happy with 60 mph and do not intend to ever try to make it much faster ... they do ride great and are bigger more stable hull than the GPR if you intend to ride 2 up very often. The 155hp RXP should be super reliable tho ... non-boosted 4 stroke should run a loooooong time.
