    Finally Changed Wear Ring!

Man, what a difference it can make. 2004 GTX SC with 147+ hours on it. Finally changed the wear ring on Saturday. Rode on Sunday. WoW!

Went from top GPS speed of 62.7 to 64.0 mph! Not too bad for stock. Will definitely keep a better watch on the wear ring. Thanks to H20dog for taking the time Saturday to teach those of us who needed to learn how to replace these puppies!

Yeah, I know. Too long. Still, it was not in too bad of shape, and was still pulling decent speed.

Good work on the wear ring. I did mine last week. Pretty straight forward install if you use all the tips on the forum.
How are you getting 64 on your GTX. I have an 04 GTX SC and I cannot break 60. I have a new wear ring and prop and installed riva grate and still cannot break 60. I'm the only guy on here with a stage 1 mod that LOST speed.
