    Nanocell

    Hi,
I have a 2010 FXHO and at the moment I run the transducer for my Raymarine A50D from a plate off the boarding ladder.
However at any speed over 10km/h there is no signal from the sounder.
So my question is can a through the hull transducer, with oil bath, be used?
Or is there something inherent in the nanocell that prevents a signal being past.
    Thanks,
    Des.

Welcome to the forum. You should be able to run a thru-hull transducer in the aft end of the hull where there is no hull liner. I doubt the nanoX hulls will interfere with the signal anymore than the older SMC hulls. Check out this thread.
