    What valves...

At the end of last summer my cam chain snapped and according to the dealer wreaked havoc on the engine internals. SeaDoo refused to cover it or offset any costs even though the probable cause was my previous washer failure.

Anyways, the engine is out and at a machine shop where I was told for sure I need valves so far. What valves are the best to put in? Should I just use the OEM valves or Ferrea Valves? All of the threads I see are kind of old so I don't want to go by those.

Does the cam chain matter? I thought I read somewhere I should get an 08 or newer, but can't find that again.

    Thanks guys.

Get valves for an 07 and never. Not sure about the cam chain. Ferra valves work good for high RPM applications but for the rec rider they wont last as long.

Sorry to bump a old thread, but I was wondering why the Ferrea Valves won't last as long with a rec rider?

There is no reason that the ferrea valves will not last as long as the stock valves.

im not sure why everyone says ferrea valves wont last long? what will prematurely wear on the valve? i only run Nils valves and have yet to see a single issue. I have a head here with 80 hours on it, using Nils Gen2 valves and they look mint.
