    Exclamation Need some expert advice...

Sold my ski last year and now am working on getting a hull from developerjj...Questions are..I really wanna get a engine block and build it myself from bottom up, knowing everything involved so I can work on it and fix it myself since there is not a shop around my area that will...Is there a manual I can buy to assist?? Also is the cost lower doing it this way or getting a complete engine and removing what I want to change and go that route?? Any advice would be great, thanks in advance

Depending on what year ski you buy there are manuals out there for them..You can check and see if Jerry can get them for you,E-Bay or your local dealer..As far as cost for an engine???Well it depends if your wanting to "Hop" it up..You can spend 900.00 alone in pistons for example...Me personally i would buy a complete engine that is is good running condition.Get the ski running and the bugs worked out of it,This will also give you an idea of were you want to mod the ski to your likings..Then Next year over the winter, tear it out and rebuild it the way you want..

Not really in a hurry to get it running this year...we have an 08 rxp that is stock and use that for rec use...as for the pistons be 900 that is kinda the line I was wanting to take...may take till next summer but that is fine...alittle at a time but well worth it in the end..

If your in no rush then that would be the road to take then..Buy all new and build accordingly...Then you know you have a fresh motor under your seat..Good luck and have fun!!!!
