    Anchoring what do you use?

I have a 3.5lb Danforth Anchor rated for a 10 foot ski with a 50 foot line. I also use a 10 lb "mushroom" anchor thats coated with plastic. Just depends on the situation on which one to bring..

Usually. I never carry one on the ski unless I'm going to an island for the day.

Does anyone have any neat ways to store a anchor on thier ski?

I just got back into PWC's last year but I had a few in the mid 90"s and we used an anchor that was basically a bag that had a line on it with a float and a hook for the bow eye. You simply filled the nylon bag with sand or rocks and used it as an anchor all day and empty the contents when you wish to stow it. It was nice because it weighed almost nothing and didn't bang around. I'll poke around and see if they still make them.

Thats a great idea!. I dont like the idea of metal or heavy weights banging around the ski..

i do have a couple yellow nylon mesh bags i could try. there heavy duty bags with zippers and a grommet hole in the corner for tying a line too.

Just found the bag. its about 1 foot square with the grommet and a heavy duty zipper.. good for keeping beers cold in the lake too. dual purpose!

Where do the rocks go? theres no room! lol

That'll work! Just remember to put a float of some sort on the line near the hook.....it marks where the line is so you don't suck it in the pump if you leave the beach for a ride and of course makes it easy to find.

Those bags are the only way to go, I bought two bags at sea doo dealer, they work well & if your not using it you can just roll up or fold.
