2003 Yamaha FX Idling Rough
Took my FX140 out yesterday. Runnning great at high end. Idles a bit rough and dies at low end, but if I give it a little gas it idles ok. Starts back up after it dies. Thoughts?

Check that the bypass air motor hoses are all attached.
Common problem........yamaha do not put clamps on them & they loosen up over time.
Take the airbox top off & you will see them.
Got some pics some where will post up if I get a chance.
If that is not the problem, then I would run a compression test.

I would try a new set of plugs. Make sure your air filter is not full of oil.
