For those who have went to the dealer to have them programmed etc what do I need to tell them to make it as painless as possible??

    Thanks!

Basically they will be doing a simple "ecu change" function in BUDS just like if they were replacing a bad ECU with a replacement.

If you haven't done so already, you will need to get the activation code from Riva. Your dealer will be prompted to enter this code when activating the Riva ECU.

did you buy a used one? if so its prob. already activated and they wont need the code. if you want the code you can call riva, give them the ID number scribed on the side and they can give you the code. just need the dealer to reset the TPS, check to make sure the VTS works and i forgot what exactly its called but it "syncs" the gauge cluster to the ECU. you may want them to reset the hour counter if the ecu has a bunch of hrs on it. if its brand new never mind all that.
