A FX HO 160hp MR1 4 stroke in a GPR would be a little better performance (about 65+mph all day long) then the 66v, would be very reliable(one of the best motors ever made), last 400-800 hr and get twice the fuel range at cruise. or the honda turbo 165HP an other good reliable, fuel efficient motor, once you get past 165hp you just blowing hp and fuel out the jet pump!!!

But where do you buy a four stroke motor? If one comes up go for it, but I don't think they are readily available and not cheap

you have to buy the whole 4 stroke ski, youl need all the fuel system and electrics, the yamaha motor is easyer with the same pump and coupler, my opinon 65mph is plenty fast with reg. gas and 100mi. fuel range a plus!!!

check out my thread in the conversion section. fxho motor in a gpr. runs 67+ mph. gets great gas mileage, idles at a normal speed and sounds like a sport bike
