    Exhaust Flapper..

hey guys, i have a riva thru hull fitting and i was thinking about fabbing up a little rubber flap to help keep water out when i am docked or anchored. anyone doing anything like this? basically something like a toilet tank seal...
I saw at some point there was a tip with a 45degree downturn but that wouldnt keep much water out as much as quiet it down when idling.

the tubing inside the hull acts like a trap for a sink (if you know plumbing at all) a flap is not needed and would be hard to make it seal 100%.

I have used flaps on boats and they only make it more quiet they do almost nothing to keep water out. The 2002 XPL came stock with one. They are good to keep water out when backing up fast or when landing a jump.

im not looking to keep all the water out, mainly just the surges of water that could make the water in my pipes rise over the hump... i have custom setup with the header...
