Water temps 60 degrees and air temp 75. Is that a good speed for the rpm? All I have done so far is the kanaflex system and catch can. Would it be worth doing the riva intake grate? Is that gonna raise the rpm's cause its gonna be close to rev limiter. Still have stock prop. and ride plate holes still have to get filled. What do you guys use for that?

We saw you on Saturday but it looked like you were in a hurry to get off somewhere. You could have rode with us. There were eight of us on the river.

    I digress...

That is not a great speed. You should be around 69mph but there are so many things that factor in on any given day. I wouldnt be alarmed that you are missing a couple of MPH, one day, on a mostly stock rxp.
The mods you should consider are the x charger and an external ic with a 15/20 prop. That will get you the best gains for the money...
If you want to keep the stock SC- the external IC, a wedge, and a grate are not bad ideas for bolt ons... ride plate work will get you another mph or so also. The stock one creates a lot of drag....

Oh yes Saturday the ski was not running right. Turns out it was the plugs. Runs good now. This week I was gonna fill ride plate holes. But how close am I to rev limiter? Sunday it hit 8100 rpm.

use bondo on the plate holes but consider having the plate machined first. Ill have a spare plate in a couple of weeks...

If you go with the riva grate you will gain 80 - 100rpm so you might as well repitch you stock impeller by adding 1mm or get a solas 14/19, you should still be at 8100-8120 rpm & hitting 69-70 mph.
