    Upgrade Kit, OEM Intake Manifold

OK...let me get this straight...if i want to install a block of plug for boost gauge application on 09/p-x...the only way is to drill out existing cap?....

if so...is this kit neccessary?...I have the new block off with ports

If this is so...looks like I would need that clamp that is supplied..yes?

Are you just trying to install a boost gauge? If so you can tap any vacum line off of the intake manifold.

well yes...relocating intercooler using xs which you know came with the block off ...didn't realize the manifold needed to be drilled out...but i know now....so if you were me...would you go ahead and do it this way...or the way you guys are suggesting..

I thought you were just trying to install a boost gauge but it sounds like you are installing a new intercooler. Do you have the ski listed in your signature? If you have a RXP-X then you already have a external intercooler so you wont be using the XS block off plug. That plug is used on the 215hp models to block off the stock intercooler location. If you have a regular RXP or RXT then yes you will need to install that plug and you can use that line to tap into for boost. Like I said earlier if you are trying to install a boost gauge just tee into an existing line on the intake manifold.

We are trying to tell you the kit is not needed. Just pull the FA out the throttle body side. You achieve the same thing but you dont spend any $.
