Maintainence Schedule for Keeping Long Life

Been looking over the forums and have really loved all the info. I haven't come across anything to suggest what type of scheduled maintainence and at what intervals things should be done to prolong the life of our 4-Tecs. Kinda like an all in one list of when to start expecting things to break down or when certain things should be looked at. Also what is the life expectancy for a 4 tec engine?

    1. Oil Changes ... how often .. Hours
    2. Plugs
    3. wear rings
    4. any other maintainence that should be looked at after so many hours that sort of thing
    5. any seals or bearings that only have so many hours before we expect problems ... like the SC after 100 rebuild

Kinda like a check list for items to look for after so many hours of running
Thanks for any input.. if I've missed it sorry in advance

the hard you ride the sooner youll want to change oil ect ect.

every 25-30hrs i plane to change the oil, plugs, change the pump oil ( i use royal purple gear oil & check the slip on the charger....

wearring you change out when its no good.

I ride mine full throttle a lot of the time so I change my oil about every 10 hours.

Depends on how you ride the ski!

I change my oil and filter every 20hrs.

You should get 100hrs out of plugs - but i replaced mine with iridium's.

If you notice slip out of the hole thats when i change my wear ring.

    Every second yr - coolant.

    Check S/Charger slip every 50hrs.

How do you check the slip on the SC by the way?

And the coolant... point me to a post if there is HOW TO somewhere
