    4in intake qustion

Hey guys how much gain are you guys seeing by replacing the riva power filter kit with the full 4in hose run up to the front of boat?I was about to run the riva kit up under the glove box,but I might try the 4in instead.

    Over the RIVA? Nice!

So that should be a 2mph gain over stock because the RIVA produces a 1mph gain over stock.

Im definately doing the 4" rear intake for next year.

Yea Im going to do this, but rear intake instead. Hopefully this will put me over 72 consistantly.

So rxpblast and rxp steve, you both ran the 4" intake to the front instead of doing the rear intake then?

yeah, mine is to the front with a mega size filter. I happen to disagree with most here on not needing a filter. Just because you are on water, does not mean your engine is not sucking in dirt, debris, and even little pieces of styrofoam that break off inside the hull.
