New AGM Battery code 19 charging system still doesnt work on gp1300r

after new top end build the bolt wasnt tight enough and stud melted into the plug wires. so got new plugs . I got a new AGM odyessy battery and when i run it it doesnt change voltage. it just goes from 12.2 down to 11.8 and down more as the day wears along. I check the recitifer to see if it was correded but it was fine. any ideas? this only happen after i fix the plug wires. before on the cheap battery the voltage would fluctuate but with the gel it wont even run over 14volts when im running in the lake. THANKS

i took apart the electrical box to make all the connection were good and tight. i took the rectifier out and the ski started fine just no fluctuating in voltage thats all. put back on same thing. is there a way i can test it? what is this lighting coil you speak of?

    get yourself a manual

it is very helpful for troubleshooting, and has all these "terms" listed

i did ohm reading on the meter and they all read 2 ohms from positive to the other 4 pin and negative to the other 4 pins.

i did already. this only happen after the spark plug wire shorted on the stud

it was the rectifier. bought one from havasau jetski junkyard for $70. ftw if the charging system didnt work, it got shorted because my exhaust stud melted into the sparkplug boot
