    1200r slipped ring

ok guys just bought a 01 gp1200R from a guy who says its slipped a ring due to oil starvation on the PTO cylinder. he said some oil line he couldn't identify popped off and caused the ski to slip a ring. it still turns over just fine. there is a crap load of oil in the hull. where do you think i should start? i was gonna pull the head and look. but does anyone know where this infamous oil line might be?

oil injection hose plugs into a nipple on each carb
