Weekend update 5/5/10
YES,I know this is late as the next weekend goes..Just figure its early... there were a few responces to the last update so I'll do it again..for me the weekend itself was good.. in part.. I have skis running and waiting for water time .. this last weekend was used up piloting a 'poontune' ..lol .was with people that didnt know how to pilot a boat ,so I was elected..did some fishing and got some sun.. mostly garbage fish were caught .. I did manage to trash a PROP!! what I get for running the shallows looking for red's..(and this is why I own ski's..)oh well..I've earned the right to bitch after paying 75.00 in damage fees..(I did get off cheap!!)
Weathers been in the 90's here so running the cool water is perfect!
Am wondering what the 'BP' oil comming this way will do for this summers fun, or for that mater the next few summers?.... hopefully they have it figured out soon and cap that sucker!!
Thinking Mudbug may be come a mess if that oil gets pushed up to Morgan City or even the Destin area!!!
Not much else to report so chime in here yourself's and keep wet!!

Hey I was thinking of you when I was bidding on this engine! It was only an hour away from me and for $1? Too bad I was outbid, no respect for a good ol' 500 Yamaha engine?

This past weekend NO tuning got done..
Just rode the ski as is..
Was too cold and too choppy to attempt any tuning 48f air and 41f water temps..
Did shoot a little more video though..
..(you need to excuse the piss poor editing.. my first time.. )
My buddy Chris was messing around on my GP for a little bit..
He didn't do too badly for his first go on a GP..
Have some more speed increase figures but no photo/video evidence..
So they're of little use for now..

Yup....he's coming over to rebuild his carbs with me watching Friday. I'm going to rejet mine while he rebuilds his. I also have a Blaster coming over to go through his carb and rejet for him for his mod pipe. Friday will be crazy....however Saturday I hope it will be a great day.
He's doing the 98 tomorrow and maybe the 99 depending on how fast he works =0)
He's ready to ride.....calls me daily...heh I'm like yo...I have to work....and you have to get on "MY" schedule....I'm a busy person !
