    Choke or Trottle cable

I have a 2002 Virage 700 carbureted. The end of the choke cable from virbation has worn the little end that holds it to the carburetor and it falls off. The one on the choke is brass and on trottle is steel. I am looking for the little end with about 2 inches of cable that I can braze to the old cable. Does anyone have an old cable not using and could cut a couple inches off the carburator end of the cable. A steel or brass end would work. I hate to spend $85 for a new cable just because of the bad end.
I hope you can understand what I am trying saying.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Contact John Zigler next week (he is away this week).

He probably has something you can use.

i think your talking about the nipple has come off, you can buy nipples from cycle, and bike shops or online. cheap, just shortern the outer cable by 1 inch give you 1 inch on inner cable to put new nipple on. (save money)

you can buy solder less nipples
