    supercharger is slipping at 12n.m

    I just rebuilt my superchager with jerrys rebuild kit for my rxp-x and the dial guage shows it is slipping at 12 nm. should i just put it back on ski or try to raise the slip moment more. it is within spec for new rebuilt charger. the manual says 10 to 17 nm its should slip.

    What kind of Scer you running???Stock X ???? Rude??ET??? This will make a differance when setting up slip

    IMO... thats a little low, tighten it up a bit since you already have it out. I ran my X charger at 17-18+ nm (12.5-13.3 ft. lbs).

    u cant really tighten the bolt more can u ?. it has 30 foot pounds on it now. i think i will have to get a shim kit if i want it tighter

    Replace the spring washers with the McMaster washers and you should be good to go.

    First of all... you have the nut to tight as it is... at 30 ft. pounds! As far as tightening up the slip, take the advice below. However... you will probably only need 2 or 3 (at most) stainless spring washers to get the slip right where it needs to be
