    03 f12x head needed

I have to replace the head on my f12x turbo after it ate a valve . I took it to the cylinder head specialist and it going to cost 500.00 plus parts to fix . Plus I want to put the heavy duty springs in that everybody is talking about in there also.I see everybody is switching to this site.
I would love to find a head that is all together.
    Thanks,ljctool

i saw one on ebay not long ago. You might search using advanced and check the 'completed items' box using the aquatrax term. Nitro, an admin on here sells the best spring kit.

There are new valves available on Ebay. I would fix the head and buy Shawn's springs which will allow you to run more boost. Just don't run your boost too high, that little turbo is turning 150+K RPM at 17 PSI and won't last long.

    Thanks for the help.

Be careful of the heads on ebay. A lot of them are either dropped valves or have been submerged. The non turbo heads have the double coil valve springs [which are better than the turbo's] but I am not sure of the cams.

The Cycle Center is First class. They do all of my work and I have been treated great. I hope you talked to Shane in the service department when you called. Travis is very good on the skis.

More than likely i can fix the head. You should see some Top Fuel heads I've done.

Both the turbo and N/A head castings are the same. Last time i bought one from Honda it was about $7-800 bare.

Send me(email or post here) some good pictures and i can advise you better.

now thats the best option yet. You know you'll have a good head with springs in your hands when you get it back...no second guessing.
