Somehow , I dont think it can be done. Due to the system in and out of the water. So no , dont do it.

it only works with a dry exhaust. no water in the exhaust. you use a spark plug in the tailpipe to ignite the gas. and you use something to shut down a cylinder so you have unburnt fuel in your tailpipe to ignite.

You will never see any flames out the back on the water ... there is water in the waterbox, so its impossible, plus impossible to see during daylight, so the whole idea is pointless and impossible.

The only time you will see flame is at night, dry exhaust, and no waterbox/straight pipe or totally gutted waterbox. The more modded the ski, and the richer it is running, the more likely a flame might be visible at night. I fired my RXP up for a quick test in the garage once with NO exhaust on, only the exhaust manifold ... and definitely saw flames shooting out the exhaust manifold. So it is no big deal and a total waste of time to try to do on a ski for all the above reasons ... pointless and meaningless.
