    Rear Exhaust on SHO

I had an idea about a rear exhaust for the SHO. Could one not just purchase the RIVA Tip and install it behind the rear seat (instead of behind the ski by the rear ladder) and then fabricate a pipe from the water box to the tip?

Has this been done or thought of before?

i would think that you would want your exhaust closer to the water. CO2 poisioning.
also the nanocell might be stronger on the bottom half of the boat to withstand the vibration/heat of the exhaust tip.

I see your point with the hull strength. With regards to the CO2 would it not the same as a Motor Bike? Just tyirng to think of another way for the SHO rear exhaust.

I really don't know..I doubt it though, they will probably just sell a complete kit with a new free flow tube/exhaust tip etc.
