wrist pin removal
ok so im sure this has been discussed before but i searched and found nothing. i have pulled the wrist pin clips and want to get the pin out but it wont move. i know they make a tool but i would prefer not to buy that if possible. any one have any tricks other than socket and hammer? i dont want to damage the connecting rod.

Use a heat gun, or a propane torch, and heat the holes where the pin goes in. This is how I dealt with it. The holes will expand, and the pin will fall right out.
