    Warantee question

I noticed a 5" crack on my top deck after jumping waves on my Ski, I know it's not real serious but does my warantee pick up something like that? Would they replace my hull?

it happens... usually more-so on the bottom of the hull below the rub rail.... but sometimes u'll get a couple spots on the upper deck.

it's the nature of fiberglass and gelcote... happens on alot of boats as well, but certainly not all boats... i guess it's a quality thing, lol

BRP warranty explicitly states stress cracks and hairline fractures in the gelcote are considered normal wear and tear and not covered under warranty... ur mostly gonna see if if u ride the surf and rough stuff and really run the ski balls to the ball... 11 feet of fiberglass with nearly all the weight centered in the middle of the hull, something is going to give and flex... that's why most often it flexes right near where the two vents are under the rub rail for the battery and fuel tank.
