How often to start RXP over winter?
Taking a break from riding over winter.
Just wondering how often I should start the ski to make sure all will be OK in Summer?
Ran it on the hose for 5 minutes yesterday after she has been sitting there for a month and she ran great. Have been starting her up every week during that month as well but only for 30 seconds.

I guess you won't be winterizing it at all, right ?

Start it once a month for like 30 seconds. Make sure you keep the battery in good shape (charged).

Nope, not cold enough here to winterize.
The coldest it gets here in winter is about 45F.

if it doesnt get below freezing just fog the motor.... even if you start it every month id still fog it after each start up. not hard to do and will help protect the motor. pull the injectors off spray some oil in each hole, turn the motor over in drown mode re install rail BAM your done

In my opinion, starting it every 4 weeks for a couple of minutes is a lot worse than winterizing i.e. spray cylinders with oil and add some antifreeze to the water to prevent corrosion. Plenty of threads giving you a detailed rundown. Maybe takes an hour to do and you are good for the cold season.
