2000 Polaris pro 1200 Random Tube?

i found a tube inside the hull that is not connected to anything on the end inside the hull there is a short tubelike Wire almost filter and it is just laying in there the otherside goes through the hull out the impeller area?

the exit is a open tube inside the impeller area closest to the outside

what is the purpose of this tube? and where should the inside one be plugged into ?

i can submit pics if needed

    Welcome to the Hulk.

That tube is the auto bilge siphon it works by sucking a vacuum from the pump.

The screen should be zip-tied to the low point of the hull.
