Silicone Exhaust Hose
Does anybody know the brand and ply rating of the silicone exhaust hose that Factory Pipe would have used on the Matrix tripple pipes. I blew the long Pto hose between the water box and stinger at the start of the season and replaced it with a silicone one that was a bit thinner in the wall and not as stiff , its starting to spit after 20hrs.

Get as many ply's as you can possibly stretch over the pipe (usually 6).
The heat generated on that particular run has always been pretty brutal on the hose.
I get the 3 foot length from Hose Techniques but I'm sure somebody local must carry it across the pond.

You could also install a piece of aluminum tubing and two couplers if there is enough room. Or maybe just sleeve the coupler with the pipe.

Its finding the 6 ply that I'm having trouble with, if I had a brand name I could try sourcing it here.
Will try an ali sleeve in the centre until I can find some. Will bead up a short lenght of tube and put it in the centre and hold it with one hose clamp.

Al - looking in your picture of the original hoses looks like the PTO one is thicker

That's pretty thin for the exit hose, be sure to keep an eye on it or maybe just change it every couple of years?

I'm going to put this in the centre just to be sure.
