    Pump Stator ??

Will a chewed up jet pump stator cause cavitation and hook up problems. I just got this ski and the impeller was HAMMERED. It looks like someone sucked in a handfull if 1-2" rocks and kept on the gas till they cleared.

I got an awesome new looking impeller from thester71, should I put it in front of a chewed up stator. The stator has 4 of the 5 vanes with big chunks taken out of the impeller side.

    Use another stator.

See if you can get a SS 6 vane.

Definately replace the stator, you'll be much happier if you do.

You'd have better luck with JB Weld.

I have a almost brand new 5 vane with bearings, the big o-ring that goes inside on the 1 end, and no gasket for the cone though,,,needs 1 seal on 1 side. in it if interested. Unless your gonna go with a SS 6-vane.. The 5 is aluminum.

heres some pics i just took of it. the blades are perfect and smooth inside, all black still. real nice shape. almost like someone used it once and took it off and never used it again.

1 of the bearings i dont personally like.. i can feel a little something. the other is fine. the inside aluminum spacer is in it also.

that light colored stuff is dust on the blades from sitting.

That prop was brand new, in fact.. When it is installed into a new wear ring it is So tight it barely turns by hand, make sure your wear ring fits nice and tight around the prop, I have a spare if needed. As for the stator, I have a ss 6 vane, and an aluminum 5 vane which is what you have, both have no bearings. I will give you the 5 vane for the cost of shipping, just make sure the new prop is tight in your wear ring, if you need one I will send that too

Thanks Tim PM me with the shipping cost for the 5 vane. My wear ring actually looks great and the prop is tight. It is hard to belive it did not get hammered as well.
