    99 1200 xlt ltd no spark

    If there is a problem with the lanyard switch can it turn over but cut spark??? Can a bad water temp sensor cause no spark? Any help please....... Thank you in advance.

    yes a faulty temp sensor can cause no spark.

    Stop switch checks good, I will find the specs for the temp sensor and check it next.

    Temp sensor good, Charge coil good pulse coil good, nThinking maybe CDI???? Any thoughts, advice, CDI test's?

    bad water temp sensor will cause it not have spark, many posts on this on the forum
