sl900 waterbox rubbing pump bolt?
At the end of last season I noticed water coming in to my ski and found the waterbox had a small hole were it rubbed against the top pump bolt. I fixed the waterbox but it is still really close to rubbing again. Anyone else have this issue. I'm thinking about putting a piece of rubber between them.

Can you shift or pad the waterbox mounting so it has more clearance to the bolt?

My 900 did the same thing...almost wore a hole in the waterbox. Loosen the two hoses on the box and reposition it further forward, then tighten the clamps back up. Also, make sure the hoses aren't all greasy where they connect, or it will slide back again...clean the surfaces up with brake cleaner.

yeah i will try to squeeze it more. I think i might be able to trim it to make more of a flush cut on the coupler.

yep had the same problem, put a piece of rubber there and held it in place with silicone, eventually it works its way loose, so i bought the bracket on line at (babbittsonline.com) that was installed in the later models 98 & up
