Cool Changing oil with engine removed from ski

Anyone have any tips for how to get the oil out while the engine is not in a ski?

Any help would be very appreciated! Thank you!

Hard to crank the ski when it is not hooked up to battery or electronics.

There is a plug in the bottom of the PTO cover that can be taken out. I think it is an allen plug. Tilt the whole engine toward the pto at about a 45 degree angle and remove the plug. It will all drain out

There are two allen pugs on the bottom - remove them both - one on the PTO the other on the main bottom.

here is one for ya... these are the holes under the PTO cover.... be careful when removing the smaller one as it has a spring assembly.

Just a thought why couldn't you install a valve of some sort when the motor is out so that when you need to change the oil you hook a hose up to it and suction ALL the oil out each time. I might be missing something and have never had one out but just thinking out load. I know it gives another place to leak but there is a plug in it already that could leak.
