Hi temp alarm
Riding today and spun the spline in the inside of my prop. WTF? Never even heard of that before. Motor would rev but I had no thrust. Got towed in to the dock and kept my motor running as not to fill it up with water. Just got to the dock and the high temp alarm went off. Immediately shut the ski off. Pulled the seat and there was a slight haze of smoke. Looked like the insulation from the water box got hot or a coupler but saw nothing melted. Riva thru hull exhaust was fine. Aparently, the new reflashed ecu does retain the high exhaust temp sensor function and it is set at a level that will alarm just in time before parts start to melt down. Just thought I would mention this as I recall there were some questions about the exhaust temp function with the reflashed ecu's. If you shut the ski down immediately the Riva exhaust should be ok also. I've had my pump out so many times now I can gather my tools, pull the pump and pull the impeller in less than 10 minutes.

If your prop was not spinning then you were not getting water flowing through. maybe thats why? sorry to hear. let me/us know what you find.
