What size piston kit to order
I have decided to go ahead and replace a piston due to low compresion 140,140,105 (front piston) on my SL 900. What size should I order STD, .50mm, or 1mm? It only has 100 hours, and probably hasn't ever been rebuilt. Also, what gaskets would you suggest to order with it? I was going to use a ball hone, and do it myself.

Have you inspected the front (MAG) cylinder and piston yet?
If the cylinder needs boring, that will determine what piston size you will need.
Also check for play in the connecting rod bearing.
