    Welcome to Greenhulk

What model year is your SL650?

You need to know the factory settings for the carburetor adjusting screws - correct?

The model year is the last two digits of the HIN number on the hull rear deck plate.
The model year is important, as the SL650 carb settings are different for each year.

    1993 SL650

    Main jet #77.5
    Pilot jet #77.5

    Low speed screw
    1 3/8 turn open

    High speed screw
    7/8 MAG
    3/8 CEN
    5/8 PTO

    1995 SL650

    Main Jet #87.5
    Pilot jet #77 SL650 (#82.5 SL650 STD)

    Low Speed screw
    1 turn

    High speed screw
    1 5/8 MAG
    1/4 CEN
    1 3/8 PTO

All that has been described in many other threads. Search is a good thing

MAG = Magneto cylinder = front cylinder on engine

PTO = Power Take Off cylinder = rear cylinder on engine

    CEN= Center cylinder

    The information is all available.

Please read carefully and use search.

The front of the engine (MAG) is in the front of the PWC hull
