Went out riding Lake St. Clair today...it was great. Had to help my buddy get his 2stroke Yamasuckies going. He flooded them. A few jet skis, lots of boats. We rode 50 miles. Went all the way across the lake looking for Gull Island. When we got across, we found some guys in a power boat who took us there...we passed it by like 10+ miles . Raced the boat, and smoked him. He had a HUGE outboard on the back. Rode through the canals around Metro Park. All in all, a great day.

I ran up and down the Detroit river trying to burn up an old tank of gas.
Ran into some guys from Lincoln Park on their Waverunners and we hung around in front of Hart Plaza.
The Hoedown was on, lotsa people, a few anchored boats.
Left the new drysuit at home, you guys were right. The water was warm enough. I guess im turning into a fair weather (and temperature) rider.
Next time you guys go out, post it. We can all meet and ride up to Gull or wherever?

Yeah, I posted this about two days ago to see if anyone wanted to go. Chaser was gonna join us, but ended up getting out the day before instead so didn't come. Can't blame him, gotta get out when you can in Michigan since the weather is so unpredictable.
We will definitely be going back out there. I don't condone drinking and driving, but I am bringing some beer and going to the island.
Here are some pics

looks like a fun ride man. Wish i would have went with you guys I would have showed u where gull was right away. Have been there many times. Also I rode down to the hoedown on sat... nothing really special. Lake temp around 8 mile was 60... the river was 53 and felt alot colder haha. P.S. I am probably going to put up my gtx for sale tommorow with the two place trailer. So I am looking to sell that and buy a one place trailer and buy a snowmobile for a winter toy. It would be cool if you guys had any tips on people who were looking to buy a jet ski or sell a good quality single. Thanks

Was anyone on the island yet? Still seems kind of cold out. I'm so ready to hit the lake, let me know next time you setup a ride and I'll try to make it.
Last year was so much fun when we road from the Bluewater to Amabasador bridge and back..

There was like 20 boats at the island. Some large cabin cruisers tied together and some more boats beached on the island. There was actually a lot of people out. Going again this Saturday 5/22.
