No wonder we buy south of the border!

    New Solas 14/19R
    Locally $499 cdn

    Jerry's store
    $275 cdn (roughly including exchange)

WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even after shipping fees it is still cheaper.

The Customs will find a way to get the price in line with the Canadien price.

When I ship to Canada or over seas, I put "gift" on the customs form and enclose a Happy Birthday card or note !!

they sure do even when its a gift sometimes they find a way.
the best is when they don't know what the product is, and can't put a value on it.
customs and shiping to canada from the states is a gamble sometimes its in our favour sometimes not.
watch out when you put a product with less value then what it is worth.
things do get lost in the mail sometimes.

I've never had a problem (knock on wood) when the item was shipped USPS. I think at most I've had to pay was $15 cdn for duty fee or some BS charge.

USPS is the only way to go.
    No brokerage fees.
The courier companies rip you off.
