    water in cylinders

    tried to start my 2000 yamaha gp1200 then took out spark plugs and there is water in cylinders do not know where could be coming from if anyone could help i took it out 3 times last summer then tried again and battery did not have enough juice to crank it so i havent taouched since last summer even when i first started it last summer there was water in cylinders my friend said it might have been sucked in the carb but since it has water agian i dont know

    Sounds like a bad head gasket possibly. Or maybe your carbs took in water somehow.

    or the last time you ran the engine...more details means a more useful response from forum members.

    most importantly..get this engine running asap..we'll deal with the water later.

    just pump it out like we did last year!! i'm still leaning towards the head gasket!!!! i'll ttyl.
