what I dont understand is, I have a riva level 1 with the 14/19 and powerpipe and I get 8100 on a consistant basis, how can a level 2 with only difference being a Riva intercooler and a wedge make that much more speed?

I am at 120 ft. and in the morning I can get 8100 at about 80 - 90 degrees and 75.6 mph but when it gets to 100 plus my rpms drop about 150 with the 15/20. I run mostly real smooth water but when it is rough I seem to slow down quite a bit, I don't no if I am hitting the rev limit or not is anyone else doing this.

    Thanks

Rendog; The Riva Stage 2 also has the SC impeller and rear exhaust. The impeller is what makes the big difference when used with the Power Cooler.

Way2fast, I have the vortech impeller with the PPG powerpipe, only thing im missing is the intercooler and the wedge, hard for me to believe that the Riva intercooler is that much more effective. I mean I could understand if the machine had NO intercooler at all, but it does have the stock one that has to be helping somewhat!

The wedge gives me at least 1 mph.

Rendog; if you have the SC impeller, you are not running a pure Stage 1, you are on you way toward a Stage 2. Is the PPG Power Pipe as good as the Riva?....I don't want to get into an arguement, but I doubt it.

Im not a Rep for PPG, but I can tell you that I tested the pipe and gained a full 1 mph with it, I believe it has to be as good as the Riva. Looking at them both I can't see where one would be better then the other to be honest! I think it sounds better then the Riva!
