    2005 RXT 215 - Modification Advice Please

I have a 2005 RXT with the following mods:

    1. Air intake mod.
    2. Ride plate shim mod
    3. Impleller repitched
    4. Removal of OPAS

Currently get 69.4 mph on GPS at 8,050 to 8,100 rpm.

Want to go to the next step and have $1,000 - $1,500 to spend.

    What do you recommend?

Thanks for your input... looking for a few mph at top end but want to keep reliability.

    SC plate?
    Intercooler?
    Solas Impeller?

Looking for the best bag for the buck.

    Upgrade your Supercharger
Solas 14/19 Impeller to get rpms at 8140
    Rising Rate Fuel Pressure Regulator

That will give you great acceleration. Better top end
    and "stock" type reliability.

For the sc: X model OR Riva Stage 3 housing/wheel
you can still run the stock Intercooler and that will save
    $ and plumbing mods.

    1. I would remove the stock internal IC and replace it external Fizzle IC setup.
    2. Fill ride plate holes with JB WaterWeld and sand smooth rideplate.
    3. Send impeller to Duke or Eric at Speedfreeks to pitch to higher rpm in hot weather.
    4. Big $$$, upgrade the SC + rrfpr+injectors
    5. Mo $$$, ECU upgrade

    Whats the rideplate shim mod?

What air intake mod did you do?

Less Than 1000-1500. A 4" front or rear air intake, Ext. I/C kit, get the stock rideplate modded, a repitched SOLAS impeller for max performance.

Adding: 42lb injectors if you do ext I/C and 4" air intake.

Going with the following so far:

    X Supercharger
    42 lb injectors
    External intercooler
    Solas Prop

The stock plate was modified to increase front lift. The air intake has already been done to allow more air flow to increase rpm.

I am doing 69.1 now at 8,100 what do you think I can get with the changes?

What does rrfpr do to the above?

    Thanks for your help.

With those additional mods keeping in mind your current speed I'll wager on....73.

Th rrfpr is a fuel pressure regulator...it increases fuel pressure with increase demand...ie...addition boost from the sc/ic. It negates the need for larger injectors...at least until you really need to to start dumping fuel in the motor......(such as it is....this is my understanding)

For feel, ya cant beat an external intercooler.

Bend the prop a little, and some 42's.

They are telling me somewhere between 73 - 74 mph.

I hope it works. Should take a few weeks to get done.

    Thanks again everyone.
