    What model year?
Tip: Last two digits of the HIN number plate on the rear deck is the model year.

    Fuel injected or carburetor?

If the battery has been sitting discharged, don't even bother charging it. Buy a new battery instead . MUCH more reliable, and will last longer.

I suggest an AGM type battery, not regular lead-acid. The Odyssey PC625 or Deka ETX16LM work very well.

Most PWC use the same size battery, and many used PWC will need a new battery anyways. Even if you don't by that Genesis, the battery will still be good to have on hand.
