Thread: burnt #2 piston

    burnt #2 piston

    any thoughts on cause? any suggestions for when i get it back from the machine shop? could it be a bad seal with the intake manifold?.i got stuck when i bought this one. i'm new to ski's buyer beware. i thought 55 was a good speed running on 2 cyclinders. ought to run great on three.

    Possible over heat. The center cylinder runs the hottest. What`s the valve`s and head look like. What mod`s did the ski have before you bought it.
