    Impeller Choice for 785

    Today I decided to remove the pump assembly to inspect the ring, stator and impeller on the 785. I removed the 5132202 impeller, which isn't in bad condition however I also have a 5132707 (from an MSX140) which is in better condition. What do you guys think I should put in, I'm unsure what the pitch/differences are. The wear ring isn't too bad and it should come up ok with a bit of sandpaper. Clearances are tight on both impellers.

    Also, the 6 vane has a few bends around the blade ends. Will this affect performance a great deal? I can do a little file work on it, but would like some opinions on this unit before I get stuck into it.

    i would bend the blades on the stator around and clean them up alittle and call it good also you always want to start with a 12/17 prop to tune it in and then you can start chaning them if you want but the 12/17 is the best bet for a mostly stock boat

    Yeah, that was pretty much my plan for the stator. Both impellers are ok, but I don't know what the pitch is on either one.

    both those props are NuJets they are mostly for the 1200's
    the 785's like the Skat Trak props better
