    750 to 1050 Conversion??

    I have a 1995 750 SLT. Can a complete 1050 engine be swapped in to that hull. When I say complete I mean complete even the spark/ electrical box. I know I'll need a different pump as well.

    It seems SLTX hull's are hard to find out here in the West.

    The motor mounts are in different locations between the Fuji 750 engine and the red domestic 1050 engine.

    The jet pump is the same modular design, but the impeller is different, and the SLTX had the extended (longer) version of the jet pump.

    Poalris did revise and improve the hull designs over the years, so not all SLT hulls are exactly the same where they contact the water.

    A much easier swap would be to find an SLT hull with a domestic engine (700, 900, 1050, 1200).

    Anything is possible, but it won't be an easy swap.

    On the Colorado River, about 1/2 mile from California in Western Arizona.

    you can do it but like stated the engines are different and use different motor mounts positions ,

    its not even cost affective ,

    im not sure what would involved with this swap either it be custom motor mount brackets or glassing in new motor mounts either way if your looking for to install it for more power because your engine failed i would recommend just rebuilding your motor if your looking for more power get a new 4 stroke

    I am currently working on a 95 slx 780 converting it to a 1050 for customer of mine. If the motor is out of the slt snap a couple of pics of the inside. Been awhile since I have seen the inside of a slt empty. This has been pretty simple and easy so far with the mock up of everything. No fiberglassing was needed to move his mounts.
