    Cam Caps?

Anyone have the part numbers for the Intake/Exhaust cam caps?

They are not listed in the fiche for the HO, SHO or FZ's. WTH?

hey there you can't actually buy the cam caps as a seperate part they, come as a cylinder head assembly as when they heads are manufactured the cam journals are machined and line bored with the caps installed.

Great. I'm done . See ya.

The engine I bought was missing this one part.

Maybe I can get my damaged head fixed?

I have PM'd the seller asking about it. If it doesn't appear I will not be buying a head to get this.
So, once verified for sure everything will be sold and I am done with this. (Don't start PM'ing me for parts, understandably not in the mood right now)

Tonight I am going to try to get the old cam cap to match up wth the oil clearance of the new caps on the exhaust side.

    Thanks Bob!

dont give up on it so i have had caps on other motors welded machined and line bored again to repair nipped up journals. big job not an ideal fix but its worked and alot cheaper than a new head. any good machine shop should be able to tackle it.
