Here's An Idea For All The Tuners.

I was in Acadamy sports the other day (general sporting goods store) and was walking down the fishing ilse and then i saw the trolling motors out of the corner of my eye ----and what was next to it caught my attention.

It's a LCD Display for fisherman to see what the water temp is while out fishing. It has a 10ft cord with a tiny sensor at the end of it. It also gives real time air temps and runs off of a AAA battery.

So, thinking about the air temps---I decided to mount the sensor under the black box that sits below the main ferring. I drilled a hole and stuck the sensor inside and then just foil taped it up.

This will give me real time air temps that are about to enter the engine compartment on my tripple pipe.

***Guess what it cost me...........8 freakin bucks. It's made by Minn Kota and will last 6 months on (1) AAA battery. Not to shabby if you ask me.

The rest of the foil tape that you guys see it preventing any air "blow-by" or wasted air. The tape traps the air in the black box and forces it to move through the engine compartment.

The RXP has one built into the ski. It sits under the fairing as well.

just learned something new. I never knew they had that feature. I think it's pretty useful to have.

Thanks for the great idea. And an inexpensive one at that.
