2009 Seadoo RXPX Supercharger at 100 hours

Our supercharger light came on at 100 hours. Took to dealer and had it checked for slippage, and it passed inspection. Question is should we rebuild it at 100 hours if it checks out, because this process costs $600 at the dealer. Or should we just reset the computer and go on.

Does anyone else have any thoughts or have had any experience with this problem.

Definately. You would rebuild at 100 hrs anyway, so if you are going to upgrade to something that will be more boost/stress, I would rebuild if it had 70 or more hours. Just my opinion.

Is it stock? If so, read exactly what your owner's manual says about the supercharger and your warranty...

Best bet is just buy a brand new one for about 600 then sell your old one.

Please disclose the hours of the old one when you sell. Plenty of guys here would pay 350 for a used one.

Hard to believe your slippage is okay. I would pull it and get it rebuilt anyway.

WOW!! 100 hrs on a hi-perf stock charger. That is amazing!!
Were those hard hrs, race hrs, WOT hrs, or rec hrs ??
My '08 px only has 40hrs, hope it holds up as well.
