Keep the so called stainless bands and just replace the rusting bolts with stainless ones

The ones from Silicone Intakes are all stainless and very reasonable. They may look like others you have purchased. Have been through 50 of them at least and never had a rust problem.

    nice source

just added them to my suppliers menu ...love a place where i don't have to make a $50 minimum order to get a couple of special bits.

when it comes to hardware, you pay now..or you pay lots more later

5 minutes with a desert broom deals with most rusting issues.

"desert broom"=leafblower they are handier then you ever thought

i have a short hose attached to the air intake of the blower and I spray my favorite brand of rust protectant in there..makes a little go a real long way
